Two questions… similar answers… same module
March 31, 2010
I recently answered the following two Perl questions on Stackoverflow:
- How do I make a new Moose class and instantiate an object of that class at runtime?
- How do you replace a method of a Moose object at runtime?
… with pretty much identical answers using MooseX::SingletonMethod.
Not bad to be able to kill two birds with one stone and also pimp my module at same time π
NB. In fact it was three birds with this one stone. You will have to look in Google cache to find the now closed Building a Moose class at runtime and tuning it (2415367) question.

I came across your site by the name “transfixed but not dead”
That is our families motto and seeing your name being Walsh, I would assume it is yours to.
Im a Digital Media Consultant and System Administrator in Miami, Florida. Cheers!
Hi Scott,
Yes it is our family motto as well. The motto is used in a few different variations of Walsh / Welch surnames (including Welsh and Branagh).
The motto also makes a good internet domain name π
Kind regards,
Barry
